Terraria is like a 2D version of Minecraft. If you’ve played Minecraft and loved it, chances are you’ll love this magnificent 2D sandbox-building game as well.
Terraria is basically about exploring the procedurally generated 2D world while crafting weapons and building structures along the way. It is not all about exploring, though, as you’d be surprised at how much more this game has to offer when you actually start playing it.
Whether you’re a collector who likes to collect valuable items or an action-lover who likes to fight monsters and boast about how many of them you’ve slained, this game is made for every style.
Terraria is all about adventures. You’ll be able to explore a variety of dangerous terrains where you’ll be mining valuable ores and resources, fight brutal monsters and make NPC companions who’ll aid you throughout your journey.
However, setting off on an adventure is not really fun if you don’t have a friend to accompany you in your quest and work together to take down strong bosses. The game feels even better if it has a split-screen for you and your friend to play together. So, does Terraria have a split-screen feature? Let’s take a look!
Terraria is available on PlayStation 4|5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S|X, mobile phones, Nintendo Switch and Windows PC.
Does Terraria Have a Split-Screen?
The answer is yes. Terraria has split-screen on Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch consoles. Xbox and PlayStation support up to four-player split-screen, whereas the Nintendo Switch version of the game support two-player split-screen.
You’ll be able to set up split-screen on all these platforms with ease. However, the steps might be a little different for each platform.
Update: After the 1.4 version update, you can only play two-player split-screen on single-player mode. It does not allow the combination of online and local multiplayer anymore.
