To get the Night’s Cavalry armor set, you need to defeat two Night’s Cavalries in Inner Consecrated Snowfield.
If you are not familiar with the Night Cavalries, they are horseback riders who haunt portions of Lands Between only after dusk when the night is at its darkest.
They wear an awesome-looking, stark black armor set, and even their horse is covered in a menacing black veil.
Night’s Cavalry armor set makes you look like a Dark Knight of Elden Ring.
To get your hands on the Night’s Cavalry Armor Set,
- First, reach the Consecrated Snowfield using the Haligtree Secret Medallion at the Grand Lift of Rold.
- Discover the Consecrated Snowfield Site of Grace.
- Head towards the North direction, and you will encounter a Caravan.
- Turn right and go straight to reach the Inner Consecrated Snowfield Site of Grace.
- The Night’s Cavalries only appear during Nightfall, so rest at the Inner Consecrated Site of Grace and change the time to night and go back to the caravan.
- The two Night’s Cavalries follow the Carriage on both left and right.
- Fight them and they will drop the Night Cavalry Armor Set after you defeat them.
How to Defeat The Two Night’s Cavalries?
After you leave the Inner Consecrated Snowfield Site of Grace, you will first encounter the first Night’s Cavalry, one that wields the Nightrider Flail.
The most important step is to separate him from small enemies who can be a major distraction later during the fight.
Fighting Night’s Cavalry on your horse makes the fight less difficult, but make sure to wield ranged melee weapons such as a spear or a halberd.
If you have a mage build, slowly chip away his health from range. And once he is down on his foot, go all out using weapon skills. Do the same for the other Night Cavalry who wields a halberd named Nightrider Glaive.
Every enemy is confined to a particular zone, and they won’t chase you beyond that. When you go beyond the edges of their zones, they will get back to their original position, either by walking or directly teleporting.
You can lure the cavalry to the threshold, and once he ignores you and returns to the caravan, you can use a ranged weapon to quickly deal as much damage as you can.
Take down both the Night’s Cavalries one at a time. By defeating the second Night’s Cavalry, you will receive the Night’s Cavalry Armor and also one Ancient Dragon Smithing Stone.
