How to Get Jirachi in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl
Jirachi is one of the strongest Steel and Psychic-type Pokémon. It is known as the Wish Pokémon and is a defensive Pokémon with very powerful moves. It can be used as a fast physical attacker or tanky support Pokémon.
There is only one way to get Jirachi. If you have Pokémon Sword or Pokémon Shield game on your system and have its saved file, then only you can get Jirachi in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. So, it is like a gift for loyal Pokémon gamers.
Even if you don’t have a Pokémon Shield or Sword game, you can borrow a copy from your friend, play it on your system and save the game.
After having the saved Pokémon Shield or Sword file, first head to Floaroma Town, north of Jubilife City, past route 204.
Then, find a field with lots of flowers. There is an old man and an old woman between the fields. To get Jirachi, talk or interact with the old man. After that, the old man will ask you if you have ever seen a star. Then, the system will verify if you have the saved data of the Pokémon Shield or Sword game. After the verification, the old man will give Jirachi as a gift.
So, this way, you can get Jirachi in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. However, this is not the only Mythical Pokémon that you can get as a gift for being a loyal Pokémon gamer. You can also get another mythical Pokémon called Mew.
How to Get Mew in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl
Mew is another strong Psychic-type Pokémon. You can also get it with a saved file of another Pokémon game. For Mew, you need to have the saved file of Pokémon Let’s Go Pikachu or Pokémon Let’s Go Eevee.
If you have the saved file, do everything as mentioned above. Then instead of talking to the old man, talk to the old woman. After the system checks for the saved file, you will get Mew as another mythical Pokémon.
So, this way, you can get not one but two powerful mythical Pokémon’s. Many players are getting confused that if the players have a saved file for both Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield, they can get two Jirachi. However, this is not true. Players can get only one Jirachi for any of the game save files. This goes for Mew too.
