From Rocks
The easiest way to get clay is to roam around your island and find the rocks. You can extract the clay from the rocks. But unfortunately, you cannot always get clay while extracting rocks. Sometimes, you get various types of minerals, money, stones, Iron nuggets, and Gold nuggets instead. Also, the rock spawns once every day.
In the Mystery Island Tour
Few places and rocks almost guarantees you some clays. One of such place is the Mystery Island. You just need Nook Miles tickets to go on the tour to the Mystery Island. Unlike the two on the player’s island, you can mine three different rocks on the Mystery Island. So, the chance of getting the clay increases.
You need a tool to strike your way through the rocks. In order to prevent the object from escaping, we advise you to dig holes near the rock.
