Murmuring Obols are used to buy Whispering keys and other unknown items. These keys are used to open special Silent Chests containing few rare and legendary items.
As Diablo 4 has released recently, we are yet to discover the complete whereabouts and how-abouts of the although rare in-game currency.
Nonetheless there are few known ways we can find the Murmuring Obols,
- Complete random overworld events: These events trigger randomly and will reward you with Murmuring Obols. These events can be completed in single-player solo, so you don’t have anything to worry about. But note that it is easier to complete them in multiplayer.
- Consume a Murmuring Cache: These items can be used to obtain 50 Murmuring Obols. You can obtain these caches by completing in-game quests.
You can check how many Murmuring Obols you can carry and have in your possession in the Character Menu under the Material and Stats section. Always make sure you have enough.
How to Increase the Capacity to Carry Murmuring Obols?
There are two major ways to increase the Obol carrying capacity,
- You can increase your capacity to carry Murmuring Obols by finding and activating the Altars of Lilith.
- The capacity can also be further increased by improving your Renown and reaching Tier 4 of each particular region.
