If you’re searching for the location of maiden blood, you must follow the White-Faced Varre questline. After invading other players’ worlds three times, Varre gives you the pure white oath cloth of Lord of Blood’s Favor that you must soak in the maiden’s blood.
Varre questline is where you have to use the Festering Bloody Finger that allows you to invade other players’ worlds. This quest teaches the player to use the multiplayer functionality with the item. What’s great about completing the Varre questline is that you get the Bloody Finger for unlimited time because of its reusability.
Where is the Elden Ring Maiden Blood Located?
After obtaining the pure white oath cloth called Lord of Blood’s Favor, you need to soak the cloth with the maiden’s blood. There are two various locations where you can soak the blood.
One is at the Chapel of Anticipation, where you started your first journey, and the other is at the Church of Inhibition, located near the west of Frenzy Flaming Tower.
Chapel of Anticipation
This area is separated from the map and only reached through a teleportation portal in The Four Belfries. The Chapel of Anticipation is the very beginning of the stage where you get defeated by the Grafted Scion.
Here’s how you unlock this area for maiden blood.
- Go to the Four Belfries located northwest of Raya Lucaria Academy after receiving the pure white oath cloth of Lord of Blood’s Favor.
- There you will find a chest at the end of the cliff, and inside is the Imbued Sword Key.
- Use the Imbued Sword key in the second Belfry that will teleport you to the Chapel of Anticipation. Make sure to use the correct portal, or you have to go find the next Imbued sword key to activate the right portal.
- Defeat the Grafted Scion and reach the very top where you started the game, and you will find a dead maiden. Soak the cloth in her blood and teleport back to Limgrave.
Church of Inhibition
To reach the Church of Inhibition, you can start from the Mausoleum Compound near Minor Erdtree northeast of Raya Lucaria Academy. From there, head to the East Raya Lucaria gate Site of Grace by jumping down the platform of stone tablets.
If you have already unlocked the east Raya Site of Grace from Raya Lucaria Academy, you can directly teleport there. Keep going straight up the hill and take a right from the madden mouse enemy. Go past the Frenzied flame Village, and you will come across the Church of Inhibition.
You will be invaded by Festering Fingerprint Vyke but make sure to activate the lost Site of Grace before fighting him, or you can ignore him and get the blood-soaked from the maiden right beside the statue of Marika inside the Church of Inhibition.
Palace Approach Ledge Road Rune Farm
If you are not aware of the rune farming location, then you are in for a treat. After completing the Varre questline, you will be given Pureblood Knight’s Medal that unlocks the area where you can farm runes.
You can either kill the humanoid enemy called Albinaurics that drops two thousand and forty-four runes upon death. You can also increase the rune drops by using Gold Pickled Fowl Foot and Golden Scarab. Kill all the enemies and reset the location by resting on the grace site. Rinse and repeat until you are satisfied enough with runes.
There are also glitched places where players can exploit for easy rune farms, but with each update, the game is fixing the glitch. Nevertheless, you can level up your characters early in the game after completing the Varre questline.
