Among all other sidearms, Sheriff is the hardest-hitting weapon in Valorant.
It offers a high-risk, high-reward gameplay as you can take down enemies with a few shots if you have pin-point accuracy or it can also make you vulnerable as you’ll be an open target.
But, if you enjoy using this weapon and are looking to customize it’s looks, then here, I’ve narrowed down the ten best-looking skins for your Sheriff Handcanon.
Neo Frontier
In my opinion, the Neo Frontier skin (both base and the upgraded version) is perhaps the best-looking Sheriff to date. In fact, it was also voted as the best sheriff skin by the community.
Even the base model (without any upgrades) looks good on its own. It resembles the classic revolver design that is close to the real world.
There are four levels of upgrades that you can unlock to enhance the weapon skin further.
The Level 2 upgrade adds sound effects, a new holstering animation, inspecting music and animations, etc.
The Level 3 upgrade completely transforms the weapon design by adding several visual elements and color variants.
It makes the classic revolver design look futuristic. It adds a cool new inspection animation, different sound effects, and several other Vfx.
Upgrading the weapon to the maximum level will give you a finisher animation that will play whenever you eliminate the last member of the opposing team using the weapon.
Arcane
So I think a lot of you might’ve seen this one coming, but the Arcane skin is amongst the best-looking skin for the sheriff.
The weapon skin is a direct reference to the weapon used by Jinx, a beloved character from the Riot’s Arcane, the animated series and League of Legends.
Being a one-of-a-kind skin, it does not come in multiple color variants and offers only a tier of upgrades.
The Level 2 upgrade opens up the gun’s barrel, revealing the coil and adding a crystal on the muzzle. It also includes other multiple visual sfx.
Sadly, the arcane skin was only available for a limited time. It is rumored that this skin won’t be returning any time soon.
Ion
The Ion Sheriff skin is perhaps the most popular amongst many players and streamers mainly because it features a clean, minimal, and futuristic design that is very pleasant to look at.
Although the skin lacks other color variants (it only comes in white color), it makes up for it quite nicely with four levels of upgrades.
Tier 2 upgrade grants you sound and VFX, whereas leveling up the skin to tier 3 will further unlock the cylinder chamber, revealing a cool-looking blue energy orb. Tier 4 upgrade will unlock a special finisher animation.
Cost: 1,775 Valorant Points
Chronovoid
Like Ion Sheriff, Chronovoid also features a clean and sci-fi-themed design. It comes in four color variants: golden brown, red, purple, and black.
You can upgrade the skin to further enhance the look of this skin. At tier 2, you will unlock the gunshot sound and muzzle flash VFX.
At tier 3, the orb chamber will get a rotating animation along with a custom reload animation. On tier 4, you’ll unlock a special finisher animation that encapsulates the enemy inside a Dyson sphere.
Cost: 2,175 Valorant Points
Magepunk
If you love retro-futuristic steampunk aesthetics like I do, then Magepunk Sheriff is the skin that you should get.
The skin only comes in a single metallic finish, but you can change the energy glow of the skin after some upgrades. You can change it to blue, pink, green and orange.
Like the rest of the skins on this list, here, you’ll get four tiers of upgrades.
Tier 2 gives you a custom gunshot sound and vfx, whereas tier 3 unlocks the gun’s chamber and ejector rod, revealing the beautiful glass fuse design encapsulating electrical current.
At Tier 4, you’ll get a custom finisher animation that puts the enemies inside an electrical fuse.
Cost: 1,775 Valorant Points
Sentinel of Light
The Sentinel of Light Sheriff’s skin pays homage to the characters of League of Legends with the glowing relic stones infused on the weapon.
But personally, this skin reminds me of the Sunshot Exotic from Destiny 2, but with crystal. It comes in 4 different color variants and upgrades.
With the Tier 2 upgrade, you will get a custom guns VFX for the sheriff. But unlike other skin, the Tier 3 upgrade does not change the weapon’s appearance; instead, it only adds custom holstering and reloading animation.
On Tier 4, you’ll get a unique finisher where the opponent’s soul gets claimed by the mark of the Sentinels.
Cost: 2,175 Valorant Points
Singularity
The Singularity weapon skin bundles come off as one of the most unique weapon skin concepts.
The sheriff’s singularity skin features dark prismatic designs with glowing energy crystals. There are four color variants to choose from, but I think the default black one looks the best.
There are also 4 tier upgrades with this skin. You’ll get the muzzle flash VFX and custom gunshot sound at Tier 2.
In Tier 3, the weapon transforms itself, separating the different components and being tethered by dark energy. You’ll also get a new reload animation.
The Tier 4 finisher is among the coolest finishers I’ve seen in Valorant. Triggering the finisher animation will open a small black hole sucking up the enemy.
Cost: 2175 Valorant Points
Reaver
If you enjoy the edge lord aesthetic in weapons, then you would love the Reaver sheriff weapon skin. The skin comes in four different color variants, i.e., purple, red, black, and grey.
It offers the same 4-tier upgrades; you’ll unlock the muzzle flash VFX in Tier 2, and the custom reloads animation and appearance changes in Tier 3.
Reaching Tier 4 gives you a special finisher where a bunch of arms drags the opponent below.
Cost: 1775 Valorant Points
Overdrive Sheriff
The latest Overdrive skin bundle adds a new skin to the sheriff collection.
It features a bulky design, which I believe is heavily inspired by the Cyberpunk x Akira anime aesthetics. There are four color variants to choose from red, cobalt, bubblegum, and onyx.
The Tier 2 upgrade gives you an alternate gun sound effect, whereas the Tier 3 upgrade gives you new holstering and reload animation.
The only downside is that the T3 upgrade does not alter the appearance of the skin like others do.
The Tier 4 upgrade will give a custom animation where the opponent gets vaporized from an orbital strike, much like Brimstone’s ultimate ability.
Cost: 2175 Valorant Points
Protocol 781-A
Lastly, we have the Protocol 781-A skin for the sheriff.
This skin stands out as very robotic and futuristic, with some cyberpunk influence. You can choose from 4 colors, i.e.: base silver, white/pink, red/blue, and green.
Unlike the rest of the sheriff skins on our list, Protocol 781-A has 5 Tiers of upgrades. You’ll get the custom sound with vfx on Tier 2.
On Tier 3, the visuals of the skin will get slightly altered, revealing the glowing energy.
Tier 4 unlocks a special finisher where the opponent gets bombarded by a summoned mech.
The final Tier upgrade adds voice lines to the weapon. The weapon will “comment” different phrases depending on your action.
Cost: 2475 Valorant Points
Honorable Mention (Wasteland Sheriff)
Now, there isn’t anything particularly striking about this skin, yet it remains one of the most unique-looking skins for the Sheriff. I’m talking about the Wasteland sheriff’s skin.
Unlike the list of skin I’ve mentioned above, the Wasteland sheriff has no upgrades or color variants.
But the intricate details, such as the springs that work as a piston, wood as a base, chains to work its axle, broken pieces of a wrench as a handle, and duct tape to hold it all together, make it look immaculate.
